I have never been able to stay with a hair stylist for more than 3 months. For the past 2 years, I did. She cuts my hair, decides on the color of the hair-dye, checks if the hair-dye is absorbed and occasionally washes my hair. I am probably the only CY she knows because she told me I have cancelled my appointment for the last 2 weeks. I looked at her apologetically and said I was busy; watching Bones. Today I had a longer chat with her and I asked her if hair is a living thing.
"Scalp is a living thing and hair is not" came her reply.
"Why are we doing treatment and conditioning then? since its dead" I asked.
She smiled at me and went "That is for the surface. You do not change the structure of what your hair is made of".
I wondered why she entertained me with my weird questions. She could be bored too.
I look forward to my next hair cut as I will be asking her how many hair cuts has she done so far. :P

Libra
The person who needs you, gets you and loves you isn't necessary the one who is with you for your life-time. A Libra is a perfectionist and will not settle for anything less.

Down Under
Thanks to Google Maps. I can plot our road traveled during our 2 weeks in Australia. We traveled a total of 6760KM, driving ourselves along the coast, into the dry lands and beside the green fields where the herd graze.

This trip was talked about a year ago. We were supposed to have 5 of us, but sadly em could not join us on this road trip. Hopefully she will make it for the next road trip in Hokkaido.

taking it to greater heights
I am blessed with normal sized hands, those that can touch to make your love ones yearning for more. It also means I can buy a normal sized DSLR and spend the savings on a prime lens. This time round, I spent 4 months thinking of what brand I should buy, should I convert or should I discard this hobby (I have many hobbies). 4 months is a very short time to decide on a purchase. Talk to my cohort and they will tell you I usually take 1 year. I will spend nights researching on which brand to buy, which model to choose and what accessories to buy. I read reviews, reviews and reviews. I subscribe to forums to hear what the geeks have to say about my choices. I also talked to friends about my upcoming purchase. More often than not, I am given the "go-ahead" consensus.
I like the "Trigger Factor" Theory, It means an opportunity arises before you and you cannot miss it or rather you should not miss it. A friend of mine is going to the The Land of Kawaii. She is able to bring back the lens that will jump start my hobby. You do not find many people who buys their camera lens before they buy the camera body. I am just one of the weirdo. Many years ago, I remember asking my brother why he had bought a CD evem though he does not own a CD player. Now I know - this gene runs in the family. *IT NOT MY FAULT FOR THIS BEHAVIOR*
I can't wait for her to return next week whereby I will pick up my lens from her and start shooting. Oh, before I start shooting, I have to get the body first!

http://goondudu.blogspot.com/2006/07/this-year.html
beginner
1. Spice up this blog - Sorta
2. Start the "Save The Toy House" Fund - Not many of my friends bought my concept of charitable organisation
3. Get a 3G phone that is "handsome", "reliable" and "ergonomic" - I did get my 6233.
4. "WOK" up a delicious Maggie Goreng for family and friends - I did cook for myself, I will work on it.
5. Stay in current job till year end - Yay I did it.
6. Have a romantic getaway - Erm, does Bali count ? Well, its was a threesome.
7. Watch less american drama series and pay more attention to my dear ones - If it wasnt for Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives, I would have done this so well.
advance
1. Wave Vigourosly underwater to the passing Manta Ray and Whale Shark for a free ride
2. Get a 6-pack body (FYI, including my tits, I have a 3-pack body now)
3. Get acquainted with the new Mac Book (anyone willing to give me free ms office license???)
4. Keep my hair longer (Its a difficult thing to do, you know, my hair defies gravity)
5. Put my travel document, i.e Passport in a Safe, locked by 3 combinations which will be held by 3 different nationalites, living in 3 different countries
6. Be less picky and set my eyes on the "perfect" apartment
7. "JAZZ" up my life
I managed to keep my hair longer, travel lesser, and found the "perfect" apartment.
Happy New Year! Welcome 2007!
